To access the Tuition Analyzer tool, click on the "Tuition" module in the left hand navigation menu.
Calculate your total cost of education:
In the College Search box, enter the name of any institution.
The 4-Year Average Net Price auto-populates based on data from IPEDS.
You can manually adjust your 4-year cost, interest rate and loan term to see how it affects your total costs.
Total costs will automatically update as you toggle numbers.
Using the break even analysis:
Switch over from the Total Costs tab to the Breakeven Analysis at the top.
The information under the College Search will carry over to Breakeven. Here you can search a job title, select a specific salary and adjust your loan terms.
Toggle the numbers to discover how many years it would take you to break even on your education investment according to your expected salary.
Click save on any search to return to later by clicking "History" in the top right.
