Now that you have purchased Steppingblocks, you will want to be sure to train your faculty and staff that will have access to the platform on how to use it, what the product can do, and how they can start to use the platform for their own office’s mission and goals. We recommend hitting the ground running in the first month of gaining access to Steppingblocks to be sure your campus offices are using the product. In order to do this you will need to do a few things for us!

  1. Think through what units on campus should get access in the first 30 days, 90 days, and 6 months. Sometimes it makes sense for everyone to get access as quickly as possible. Other times it's better to spread these out, usually depending on the time of year.

  2. Identify the people that will be admins or super users of the platform. For every unit on campus that will be using Steppingblocks, we recommend having at least one admin or super user. This person will become the point of contact for that unit and can assist with answering questions as well as giving access to new people.

  3. Share a list of people and offices that will have access to the platform and send that to our Partner Success Team during onboarding. This list should include all admins of the platform as well as other key users that will gain access in the beginning.

  4. Schedule trainings! We'll work with you to identify a time that works for us to train your team and other units on campus. Sometimes these trainings are split up by unit, other times there are large trainings for everyone. What would work best for your campus?

In these Virtual Training Sessions you can expect the following from us:

  1. Hour-long time blocks with your team by product and by role

    1. The most common trainings we do are hour-long sessions for an individual unit where we can dig into your use cases, questions, and share other partner examples.

    2. Shorter trainings are also common, especially if there is an existing meeting (ex: Dean's Meeting), where we can preview the platform for many people at once. This type of training is commonly followed by a more intensive session with those that request it.

  2. We will record these trainings and share them with you. We also have many additional resources in our help center and website including partner use cases, walkthroughs, and specific data FAQs.

    1. If you think of anything that may be helpful to you and your campus, let us know! Our team would be happy to create anything that may be helpful for you and your rollout of the platform.
